It appears that we cannot suspend a VPS running under Xen 4.4 and
restore it under Xen 4.8. This round of patches was not simple and
has required an upgrade from 4.4 to 4.8 so I'm afraid for this one
there will be no suspend and restore. It's going to be a clean shut
down and boot for everyone.
We found this out at the point of trying (and failing) to restore a
customer VPS on "elephant" so unfortunately one customer
experienced something akin to a power cycle.
I was convinced I had successfully tested this, but apparently not.
