At the moment they don't, but they do take up disk space and
increase disk load so we'll be asking if we can remove them as soon
as possible.
The advantage of a snapshot over a backup is that we can put things
back exactly as they were, as opposed to you having to install a new
VPS and then put back your data and configs manually.
