Debian Etch is no longer a supported release, and are hence no longer
available from regular sites such as http://ftp.uk.debian.org and
http://security.debian.org. While you really should upgrade there is
still the option of using http://archive.debian.org/ in the meantime.
Do note http://www.bitfolk.com/apt-cacher.html and the text: "Only the
specific mirrors listed above are allowed. If you use other sites in
your sources.list then please let support know and we will consider
whether to add them.". Of course, there is still the option of using
archive.debian.org directly, without going through the apt-cacher.
