I have just moved from 123-reg to Gandi; very happy so far!
Especially things like v6 glue; which was possible albeit a faff with 123
is just part of the default Gandi management tools.

Looking at their help files, the big downside is that the only way that
they automatically renew domains is if you give them sufficient money in
advance, and in the correct account for the domain(s) concerned.
While I can see the advantages to them of such a system, it is not my
preferred method.
