+1 for Gandi here.
The thing that killed 123 for me was when i had weeks of intermittent email after they
bought my provider and when I asked for help checking my POP3 settings were still OK on
Linux after the migration , I got a really off-hand response telling me how to set up IMAP
in Outlook.
It was clear the person hadn't bothered to read my email and couldn't give a
monkey's that my business email was being affected.
Cheers,
Paul.

I've used half a dozen domain registrars. None of
them are perfect,
but so far, Gandi has been the best. They have all the extras that
other DRs charge for. They've also provided good support for the few
occasions where I had questions. Not sure about your specific
question, but my understanding is that their DNS stuff is fairly open.

I am about to give
portfast.com a go
Actually, before I do, can someone confirm that it's easy to get
their control
panel to hand over control of DNS to other servers (I
know from experience of doing it for someone else, that GoDaddy makes
it a pain) and they do domain renewals automatically?
What about Gandi?
