that wants a local time.

I've just noticed that my VPS is now showing
UTC rather than BST
despite still being in the "Europe/London" zone.
A good advice is to keep your servers always in UTC. It helps avoiding
confusions in the night of the change. Any timezone transformations
should be left to output scripts.
