One of the coolest promotional gimmicks our exhibitors and speakers came
up with for LugRadio Live USA was to give away some shot glasses which
had loads of blacked out squares and some which weren't blacked out.
With it came a piece of paper containing hex digits which, if you're a
winner, matched up with the empty squares to produce a prize or discount
code of some kind. The shot glasses are here:

Not sure whether this is the kind of thing you're interested in, but it
may be worth speaking to the organisers to see if they're doing swag
bags for attendees and then dropping something in each one even if it's
just a flyer, but but it's nice when companies give you something useful
or memorable. Perhaps something to do with geek culture, like Sci-Fi, or
a set of mini screwdrivers or a mini torch for poking around the inside
of PC cases. Or Bitfolk condoms :) Better safe than sorry and you *know*
people will be carrying them for a while...
Just a few ideas. Might be worth pillaging the various geek stores for
other ideas.

I suggest you remove everything except:
nameserver 212.13.194.71
nameserver 212.13.194.96
and then try again, since I suspect your own VPS (127.0.0.1) is not
running a working nameserver.
BTW your replies are going direct to me but it would be best to keep
this on the list. Can you do a list reply or at least a reply-all?
Cheers,
Andy

The file is /etc/resolv.conf (no e). Are you sure it does not
exist?
If it does not, it needs to contain something like:
nameserver 212.13.194.71
nameserver 212.13.194.96
Cheers,
