That's what I think I'll do.
That said, if you're just starting out with Linux,

That would be most welcome. Any pointers to avoid disaster can only help.
If your VPS is not yet configured for anything you may
be best off
installing it from scratch with Squeeze.
It is configured, but I can repeat what I've done fairly easily if I need to.
