Hi All,
How can I get access to my Bitfolk backup, so that I can restore it to a
local machine, and prove that I have enough data included?
By the way, I find one of the better ways to ensure things can be
set up again in event of disaster is to set it up from the start
with config management. I don't think it's overkill for even 1 host,
because it provides assurance that you can do it again.
So I really recommend moving to a situation where everything is set
up using something like Ansible, Chef or Puppet. Then you can try
setting up a new thing using that and see if it actually works.
This also helps you to know where all the data is coming from, so as
to know what needs to be backed up.
Cheers,
Andy
