I have actually viewed this whole process quite positively. I'm not a
professional sysadmin, and being retired, I have time to fiddle with things
and learn. Last year's correspondance on the list got me thinking about
IPv6, the renumbering exercise on my VPSs which I did early on encouraged
me to learn more and gave me the confidence to set up and enable IPv6 and
to start serving my own DNS for my many domains.
When we do this next round of renumbering, I'll use the opportunity to
build my own IPv6 tunnelling as BT Infinity isn't going to enable that
anytime soon
