Interesting you mention Twitter though, I follow @bitfolk but haven't seen a tweet for months. That said I am fully aware that Twitter is selective about which tweets it shows you, but have no idea how it decides. I've seen tweets from people where they've tweeted several in a few minutes referencing each other and only had one in my feed. I've also had people retweet others that I follow where I've not seen the original - the most recent of that was the latest Wordpress update, no sign of the original Wordpress tweet when I scrolled back on either my Twitter web page or Plume on my phone, but I saw somebody retweet it. Still, it's much the same as Facebook where I've thought people have largely abandoned it, only to find out that they are making quite frequent posts. Whereas others I'm not really fussed about (but don't quite want to unfriend!) ramble on about nonsense in my feed that I don't really care about!
