Hi.
Did anyone else have problems with the debian bind update last night? I
woke up to find it'd hung during the update (I have cron-apt set to
autoupdate), and I'd been without a DNS server for 6 hours.
(yes, I know I'm taking risks with auto update etc)

It seemed to go okay for me, on Debian squeeze, but I watched it
happen.

Worked OK on the half dozen systems which I updated this morning.
Do you mean the update process hung, or that the process completed but
your DNS subsequently hung?

serving dns. When I killed bind the update completed and it all started
working again.
