Yes, paypal was the reason to go to stripe. We need a non-USA option

Hi Tim, It would affect people whose card's default currency is not GBP. Although as mentioned I don't think it will actually apply to the charges we initiate. I still have to check that. There is an opt out on the checkout screen but (assuming we allow this to go ahead) the default action would be to pay in your local non-GBP currency and be charged an extra 4%.
