That isn't expected behaviour. Can you tell me:
- Which kernel you're running
- What its command line is (look in grub/menu.lst or /proc/cmdline)
- Which Linux distribution this is
Would you like us to monitor your ntpd for sync? This is a standard
Nagios check.
