Definitely - I wouldn't advise the use of only one server in a
production environment! However, probably be easier just to test it
out (or at least get it running - Bind is a mean beast to get started
with!) with just the one server than the added complexity of two :)

Yea, you don't need more than a single DNS server at all. It's just wise to
have the resilience if it's a production server.
