Alphabetical. The priorities involved at the moment are a little
more complicated than simply which server are you on, so don't try
to guess too much from just that. :)
Until I can decide how much to charge for additional storage, those
of you who either don't have additional storage or who have only a
small amount are more likely to be offered an upgrade since my lack
of a decision in that area is less of a factor.
In any event once my VPS comes up for moving would it
be possible for
me to take the opportunity to refresh my OS version at the same time
on a clean machine and move over data once I am happy it works? i.e.
Have a week or so overlap of running two images on different
hardware?
What you are looking for is this offer, which is unrelated to the
current upgrades:

That gives you two weeks of overlap. Certainly, when your time
for upgrade comes, that can be done with the new account being on
new hardware.
If you (or anyone else) would like to take advantage of that then
please send an email to support(a)bitfolk.com with the requested
information, and note whether this is to to take place immediately
(in which case your new account probably won't be "pre-upgraded" and
will use the old specs) or whether this is to wait until upgrade
time and skip straight to having the new account have upgraded specs.
