Oh! Yes, that would be what Mike was referring to then, and as you
say also explains gmail's response. I thought Mike was talking about
the a:savella… bit in the record.
Yeah, SPF works on the envelope from, so your record should either
be at savella.carfax.org.uk or else you need to change the envelope
sender.
DKIM works on the domain in the From: address.
