No, it's not needed. Your SPF record tells recipients which IP addresses
your mail will be sent *from*. In fact, you could simply have
"v=spf1 a -all"
which would cover the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses associated with
"ianhobson.com" (assuming that that's the only server sending such emails).
