Hi Keith,
I note there is no "zone keiths-place.co.uk/IN: loaded" line, so the
zone is never loaded for some reason.
I suspect a syntax error in the zone file. Try running
named-checkzone on it, e.g.
$ named-checkzone keiths-place.co.uk /var/lib/bind/keiths-place.co.uk.hosts
Or turn up debugging in named's own logging.
