Yes, you are the brave ones. :)
The issue we had is that the root device was xvda
and now (with the kernel in
10.10) is detected as sda. We change to use the UUID and it (seems at least,
I've just change it to UUID 5 minutes ago) to work okay =)
Also, using .32 from 10.04 with ubuntu 10.10 worked ok for us too (although
there are some warnings while booting)
So are you saying that the 10.10 kernel now does boot for you, and
does not have the kernel warnings you saw with the 10,04 kernel?
