There is an example of what to put here:
https://tools.bitfolk.com/wiki/New_/48_assignments,_October_2024#ifupdown,_…
Things I would change:
iface enX0 inet6 static
address 2a0a:1100:1012::114
netmask 48
I'd put the netmask on the line above as /128. Whether you choose /128
or /48 doesn't make much difference but I like /128 because it makles
clear that there is only one address in use. I like them on one line
just becauise it's neater and we don't really use the word "netmask"
any
more.
gateway 2001:ba8:1f1:f0e3::1
I'd use gateway fe80::1 just because it's neater and because eventually
you intendf to end up with no mention of 2001:ba8:1f1:f0e3::/64 so why
add one?
Don't forget the blackhole route stuff.
I copied the old one and changed: address &
netmask [ 64 -> 48]
It's worth having a read of all of
https://tools.bitfolk.com/wiki/New_/48_assignments,_October_2024 if you
haven't already.
The stansa that concerns me is 'gateway' -
above is a copy of the old one, what
should I set this to ?
Hopefully covered by the above link.
Thanks,
Andy
