For those of us who interact with a lot of mail daily, it's frustrating
to receive list mail that has lost all context and which may not be
automatically threaded due to a subject line molestation.
For clarity - it's not actually editing the subject line which causes a
problem - it's not referencing the previous e-mail in the headers.
Keith appears to be using Gmail which is certainly capable of this.
Keith - please use the "Reply" option in Gmail rather than composing a
fresh e-mail each time. Then threading will work fine (even if you
change the subject line).
