I would suggest adding hardy-backports to your /etc/apt/sources.list
if you want newer packages than hardy itself provides without having
to fully upgrade your release (and away from LTS). In the case nginx,
it has the same release as intrepid (0.6.32); otherwise you could
always compile it yourself!

Has anyone tried updating an Ubuntu VPS to jaunty
yet? If so any advice?
My advice is to stick with the most recent LTS release as beyond
that, Ubuntu packaged Xen kernels will not work unless they are run
under a very recent dom0 host kernel, which Bitfolk will not be
supporting for quite some time.
