It's a good idea. It is compelling to use something that a customer
is involved in.
Right now, the BitFolk Twitter exists and it's the kind of thing I
feel required to keep around and doing what it does - just not on
Twitter. So I am wanting to find a new home for it.
From a wider perspective there have been multiple requests for a
status page as there are people who don't want to check Twitter nor
the Fediverse (even though Mastodon accounts do have RSS/Atom
feeds, which may help).
Once the thing is moved I'm not averse to coming up with some sort
of status page (hopefully a pre-existing app) that would be the
source of the updates, and pushing them to the Fedi account instead
of the other way around.
