However, I do recognise that it might be nice to burst to more cores, or have the possibility of multiple threads of execution without necessarily being forced to have a context switch inside the hypervisor. I am deploying some new hardware in July and as part of that process I will be investigating increasing the number of cores per VPS. However I can not guarantee that the base VPS spec will come with more than 1 core, nor that additional cores will be something that one could purchase: I am not keen on adding yet another combination of specifications, and am therefore more likely to scale cores with amount of memory.
