I've just done a pretty standard update on my VPS, which is still on a
32 bit install running Ubuntu 18.04. Unfortunately for the first time I
can think of there was an issue with the kernel version. It upgraded to
the linux-image-5.3.0-26-generic package (I'm on the HWE path) and it
failed to reboot.
Not an issue for me as it was easy enough to use the console to boot off
the previous kernel, but I thought it worth noting in case anyone else
was impacted. Another good reason for me to get sorted with my upgrade
to 64 bit!

Hi,
A customer sent me some instructions for installing Fedora Linux on
a BitFolk VM via the Rescue VM. I followed them myself to verify
they worked and shoved them in a wiki article as I went:
https://tools.bitfolk.com/wiki/Installing_Fedora
I'm not a Fedora user so I don't know if that is the best guide, but
it did appear to work!
Cheers,
Andy

Hi,
TL;DR: Bitcoin payments are broken, hopefully fixed today or
tomorrow. If you need to make a payment that way please wait a
little bit. If your service will be terminated for non-payment
please contact support for an extension until it's fixed.
More detail:
It seems that our bitcoind is crashing, I think because I made the
mistake of running it as 32-bit (see repeated threads about the
death of 32-bit) and it now needs to allocate more memory than a
32-bit process can.
I could give it a 64-bit kernel but the bitcoind itself would still
be 32-bit so I'd have to recompile it as well. I'm instead going to
rebuild that host.
Cheers,
Andy
