So..

W: Failed to fetch bzip2:/var/lib/apt/lists/partial/apt-cacher.lon.bitfolk.com_debian_security.debian.org_dists_wheezy_updates_main_binary-i386_Packages Hash Sum mismatch

File on mirror:

http://security.debian.org/dists/wheezy/updates/main/binary-i386/Packages.bz2

sha1sum of that:

$ wget -qO - http://security.debian.org/dists/wheezy/updates/main/binary-i386/Packages.bz2 | sha1sum
f592c09579eab38a4e8220dcf24e8155b308356b -

File on apt-cacher:

http://apt-cacher.lon.bitfolk.com/debian/security.debian.org/dists/wheezy/updates/main/binary-i386/Packages.bz2

sha1sum of that:

$ wget -qO - http://apt-cacher.lon.bitfolk.com/debian/security.debian.org/dists/wheezy/updates/main/binary-i386/Packages.bz2 | sha1sum
f592c09579eab38a4e8220dcf24e8155b308356b -

Given that apt-cacher is clearly serving the same file that is on
the source mirror, I'm confused as to where the problem is. But the
problem does seem to go away if you don't use the apt-cacher.

Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers,
Andy
