Actually, I've got a success case that you'd probably be interested
in.

Due to a slight case of using the wrong xterm, I managed to switch
over my desktop machine at home instead of my VPS. I'm happy to report
that it currently works quite cheerfully from an arbitrary location on
the internet. :)
