By the way, if you want to test what is going to happen, the command
line on our side is:
rsync --filter=3D"dir-merge,n /.bitfolk-rsync-filter" -a \
--delete --numeric-ids --relative --delete-excluded \
--sparse --hard-links root@your-host:/backup-dir /blah/
so if you run that yourself (perhaps with -n and -v debugging)
you'll be able to replicate.
