I own a few domains and have gradually moved them across to my own DNS servers. One good setup is to have BIND (or equivalent) running as the master server on your VPS and then the Bitfolk ones as the secondaries and the only published servers. That way you have complete control and any changes appear as near to instanteously as possible. Moving them across is not something you need to do immediately
