I managed to cheat dpkg slightly, i created a new file called postfix with a hunch that it would go past the error and complete. It did and now I have postfix installed and working :)
Hi guys,Thank you for your help, I attempted to do a purge as you suggested, however:dpkg: error processing postfix (--purge):subprocess installed pre-removal script returned error exit status 100Then i tried: sudo dpkg --force-all --purge postfixand got the same problem...I remember trying to install postfix a while ago and might have made a mess of it, I believe it was one of the times apache2 went out of control because of WP and crashed the server so it never completed the installation.Daniel
